Clavo Cellars is NAILING It: The GG’s Road Trip, Part 3
Posted on December 18, 2015
Hello, Wine Lovers of the World!
Our final stop on our Epic Road Trip, Grapes Gone Wild, this summer, found us at beautiful and lovely Clavo Cellars in the quaint little town of Templeton, CA. Located near Paso Robles, this little gem was all we dreamed of and more. And while we knew the wine would be fabulous (they have a long list of award-winning wines we were thrilled to try – we recommend the Two Moons 2011 Angst), the company of one Mr. Neil Roberts was the icing on the cake.
Neil is a giant in the wine world, with over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, a career that began with the Mondavi family in California. In 2004, Neil took the knowledge and passion he’d developed for making wine and expressed it in his own label, Clavo cellars. According to their site,
“Clavo Cellars is all about growing wine in the vineyard and sharing it with anyone who can appreciate the passion and hard work behind each glass.”
We hope you enjoy as much as we did. And many thanks to Neil, Amber and the whole Clavo team for hosting us so beautifully. We’re already counting down the days until our next visit.
We HEART you,
Lo & Tee
Clavo Cellars is located at 315 S. Main Street, Templeton, CA. The tasting room is open Sunday-Thursday 12-5 and Friday-Saturday 11-6. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800.226.0174.
